AUTHOR BIO
A native of Washington state, Gerrit Hansen worked with young people in education, sports, and business for twenty-six years in Indonesia (1986-2012). During that time, he also traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. He returned to the Pacific Northwest with his family in 2012 and he is preparing to launch his first full-length novel, The Power of Ancients, an epic adventure fantasy that draws heavily on his Southeast Asian experiences.
Besides writing, Gerrit enjoys running, swimming, biking, hiking, playing the piano/keyboards, and photography.
